If that happens, he'll be the first full-time starting Duck QB since the 1990s. The process for integrating the receivers to this sort of motion began even before Gabriel arrived on campus. Per wide receivers coach Junior Adams, the moment Gabriel was committed they got to work. The team's monarch machine is capable of emulating every type of pass, kick or punt. It also allows you to tinker with the passing delivery, allowing the receivers to get practice catch from a lefty before one was officially with the team. "We changed it to a left-hand spin so they can get used to seeing the spin," Adams explained. "So that's helped out a lot, and they pay a lot of catch and run routes with Dillon a lot."
