I have stated that with no B1G teams in the top-25, Our Beloved Ducks could clean up and make the NCAA Tournament that much easier when in the B1G next year.  Now, after looking into it--I think we can win a bunch of games, but getting a higher RPI is going to be a problem.

 

The Pac-12 has 11 Baseball teams, (none at Colorado) and we play all ten other teams each year.  The B1G currently has 14 teams and they only play eight series?  What?

 

So they adopted the SEC football formula?  That won't work to build a strong RPI or SOS, thus Oregon will need to schedule some tough out-of-conference games to build that RPI. Just when I thought leaving Arizona, Stanford and the Bastard Beavers behind would help us...we may need to schedule them anyway!

 

I did NOT see that one coming...
