Today we have Grayson Grinsell on the mound, and I will watch with my hand over my face...through slits between the fingers.  He can be brilliant, and blowing through batters, and then he suddenly walks two batters, hits another and faces a crisis with bases loaded...and then often gets out of it.

 

He is mentally fragile, IMHO, and things can turn on a dime with him.  (Kind of like yesterday with RG Gordon)

Stop predicting trap games btw Charles 🙄

I call it as I see it, and unfortunately was right.

Ducks lead 2-1 after two innings.  

Maddox Molony made a fantastic play at shortstop, as he dove and got a grounder on a perfect anticipation of the bounce and rolled, jumped up and fired to first base for the out!

 

 

After three innings...Oregon leads 5-1!  We were at this same spot and score yesterday...but today is new day.  Right?

 

 

After four innings, Oregon continues to lead 5-1.

Sigh.  After five innings it is 5-4 Oregon.

Boetcher has definitely been struggling this series.

Ducks still lead 5-4 after six innings, and a run was saved by an incredible throw from left field by Justin Cassella to home plate for the out!

 

 

Ducks up 8-4 after seven innings due to this three-run home run by Chase Meggers!  He has really come on...

 

 

Ducks blow it open in the 8th inning, and lead 15-5!  Chase Meggers is having a DAY!

 

 

Good to finish this out winning 17-5, with more information coming later...
