A day after Stanford came out swinging, scoring 19 runs in a game one victory, the Ducks turned the tables and scored 17 runs in a game two win. Overall, Oregon finished the game with 17 hits as Meggers, Neville, and Walsh combined to go 10-for-14 with three home runs and 10 RBIs.

No. 16 Oregon drops first conference series behind Stanford's six-run fourth inning

 

Oregon dropped its first conference series of the season on Sunday, as Stanford once again rallied from an early 5-1 deficit to take the rubber match.

 

Malcolm Moore slugged his fourth home run of the series, this time a grand slam in the fourth inning, to put Stanford ahead for good en route to a 10-7 victory

 

The loss drops Oregon to 27-12 on the season and 11-7 in conference play.

Oregon pitching still an issue with 5 run innings all too common. Plenty of bats for the Ducks but the starters get into trouble and are blowing significant leads. Clean that up and they will win most of the league series.
