Danno ranked third is a tribute to his program building to date and Oregon's potential, not on conference titles won, playoff appearances, and longevity. If he pays any attention to this stuff, I doubt Iowa HC Kirk Ferentz is happy about being ranked 7th, especially after firing his son as OC after the lad's offense turned the Hawkeyes punter into a 4th round draft pick.

Dan Lanning will have the chance to start moving on up in the B1G and in the nation this season.

With Harbaugh Charging off to LA, I understand and support Ryan Day being numero uno. But another coach in LA coming in second is based upon Lincoln Riley's past as much or more than the USC's program's future. Like Dan, Riley has yet to win a conference title since he left Norman for Traveler. Riley does not have the roster advantage he had in the B12 where a litany of Texas coaches did not recruit at a conference-title level.

10 Coaches on the hottest seats. Ironic that the B1G's No. 1 Ryan Day is No. 10 on this list. What have you done for me lately?

Jaden Rashada, now with Georgia I think, and his attorneys, agree with No. 1 on this list.

The opening game for Billy Napier on August 31, 2024, Miami at Florida, is an early litmus test for Billy and our buddy Mari(o.)
