The House settlement will not incent college sports fans to tune out. In 2021 when the NCAA, at the point of a gun, allowed college athletes to market their Name, Image, and Likeness, viewership of college sports did not drop off. Instead, viewership of money-making football and basketball increased as did viewership of Women's sports. College athletes earning their market value did not destroy fan interest.
