When you click on the word “News,” you will see an index of multiple links to sports news sites for your enjoyment! During the football season, podcasts were included with the game for that week. Podcasts still are taking place, just not as often. I also have noticed that the podcasts now are covering more than just football. For instance, the one following includes some talk about basketball. Those podcasts will now be posted under this thread as they occur. To see the previous podcast thread click Right Here as we will keep the thread to no more than 50 podcasts at a time. Check back often for some informative listening. After hiring Jamar Mozee from Lee’s Summit (Mo.) recently his son Isaiah Mozee has flipped his commitment joining his father. The 6-foot, 190-pounder is the No. 223 ranked player nationally in the On3 Industry Rankings. Mozee had committed to Oregon back in mid-April. On the heels of his father’s hiring and the visit that quickly followed, this news isn’t all that surprising. Currently Oregon has commitments from two five-star receivers in Dallas Wilson and Dakorien Moore. Along with Notre Dame Prep (Ariz.) four-star Cooper Perry. CBS Sports' Josh Pate recently said on his show that it would be "embarrassing" for some in the Big 10 if Oregon comes in and wins the league in its inaugura. It is expansion and realignment season in college football. Florida State and Clemson are suing to get out of the ACC because of their horrible, low-paying media rights deal. Many (Locked on Big 10 included) feel schools like Florida State and Clemson might be a good fit in the Big Ten in the future. While court cases and mediation are taking place, Thursday August 15, 2024 is the deadline for ACC schools to announce whether they plan to leave in time for the 2025 college football season. Such an announcement would lead to another expansion and realignment shakeup in the college football world. BUCKEYES BUCKED? Meanwhile, the Ohio State Buckeyes football program has been killing it on the recruiting trail. Their class of 2025 is already ranked number one in the country and they are looking to add to their roster and close recruiting season with a bang. But a couple of head scratching misses have occurred thus far in August. We will explain here. First year Indiana football coach Curt Cignetti has a clear cut leader in his quarterback battle in Bloomington and a couple of starters will miss the Purdue football season opener with injuries.
