I loved to watch him play "all out" every second every game.  Sacrificing his body to do whatever it took to win.  My favorite Kamikase Kid, Ron Lee.

It was Ron Lee. What does the 2085 represent?

Winner! Of course, those points were accumulated without the 3 point shot. It's safe to say he made at least two 3's a game. So, the total points would be around 2325.

2085 will be the 60th anniversary of the Ducks first football championship!  It will also be the year the Ducks secure their 20th such football championship (once every 3 years isn't too greedy, is it?).

It is unusual to have a record last as long as Ronnie Lee’s. However, he is by far the overall leader of career field goal attempts by over 480.

Ronnie Lee and Greg Ballard are in the top 5 scorers of all time at Oregon. (Played together)

If he had been a better shooter his total would be amazing. His record will probably stand as players good enough to challenge it won't stay long enough. Pritchard played 4 years, but he wasn't a prolific scorer.

Ballard has the single game scoring record, 43, against Oral Roberts, in a NIT 1st Rd. game, played on my birthday in 1977, and won by the Ducks, 90-89. Anthony Roberts scored 65 for ORU.

Winner!

Thumbs up for posting a trivia question.

I was late to the game, but I like the idea.

Related trivia, re: Ron Lee...

How many pairs of NIKE basketball  shoes were destroyed in practice while being torture tested by Ronnie?

(I have no idea, but a (now deceased) friend of mine) was in the building to witness RL literally ripping the soles off multiple pairs in one session.

I believe there was a Register Guard article written about it at the time. Authored by Bud Withers, IIRC.
