This miracle 4th down TD forced OT, but didn't leave any offense for the Broncos when they got there.

Will Herbert end up with a record today?

NFL passing first 5 seasons:

20,618 - 80 games - Peyton Manning

20,455 - 77 games - Justin Herbert

153 from matching Peyton.  At the moment I post this Herbert has 82 so far in first quarter.

how much they had in rushing yards first 5 seasons:

556 - Manning

1,163 - Herbert

190 in the first half for Justin, and the Chargers lead, 20-7.

Would have been great if Bo and the Broncos had pulled it off, the Bengals gave them every chance to in OT, a tie would have clinched the Playoffs for Denver. But they have another chance next week at home against Kansas City, who's already clinched the No.1 seed.

Watched Herbert carefully today to see his progression through reads in the passing game. Interestingly, his first read was most often to rookie Ladd McConkey who caught 3 touchdowns if I am not mistaken. I knew this

Duck-Bulldawg combo was going to be a magic one when the Chargers drafted McConkey with the second pick of the second round. And true to form Ladd made an all-time NFL short list of 7-8 NFL rookie receivers to have 70+ catches, 1000+ yards, and 6+ touchdowns in debut seasons.

It is a true pleasure for me to watch this duo work together.
