Well, according to the Wolfe Index which is one of the “major selectors” used by the NCAA to determine the national champion.
 

Most, if not all “real” Duck fans won’t celebrate this and the team won't claim it, but it makes for a great counter-argument for the Fuskies bogus 1960 championship claim. They used the Helms Athletic Foundation which was never recognized as a “major selectors” and also ceased selecting champions back in 1982.
