Posted January 29Jan 29 One more big time American football game coming up next Sunday. Then it's time for the combine and draft. Who coming out from Oregon improves their stock? Who could harm their status? Will Gabriel get drafted? Tez Johnson a first round pick?

Tez Johnson a first round It's not a great QB class, maybe Gabriel can go in the 6th round, that has worked out. I'm encouraged by some buzz around Tez, he's perfect for this time in the NFL. One of the teams that seems to be pointing for him is Denver. Imagine how many NFL fans haven't heard about the Bo-Tez connection?
January 29Jan 29 Moderator He dropped out of the Senior Bowl but if he's healthy, I think Jordan Burch could put on a show. *** The East-West Shrine Game is on the NFL Network tomorrow. Many mock drafts I have seen have Jeanty going to Denver and Michigan TE Loveland going to the Chargers. Loveland was the 2024 Michigan passing attack. Incredible that Michigan defeated an almost all-hands-on-deck Bama team with five first or second-round draft picks sitting out. Must have been the scouting, right? 😁

What's funny is last year wasn't considered great past Caleb Williams and two guys in Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels being boom or bust. McCarthy, Penix and Nix were considered reaches by many pundits. I think Penix and Nix were graded as second to third. McCarthy was considered a game manager but one with the physical tools. I think somebody is going to fall in love with a Milroe, Howard, McCord and Gabriel and shock the pundits again. You are one hundred percent correct in this being a weak draft with no consensus top guy. Both Sanders and Ward are considered locks to go top ten, but even they have big questions marks.

January 30Jan 30 Yes, Jordan Burch. In the fake punt he was moving so dynamically I thought it was our WR of the same number. Tez should be special too. He's going to put up some amazing numbers in the jumping, 40 yard and shuttle drills. I'm curious how many reps he gets on bench at 225.
