I don't know anything about halftime performer Kendrick Lamar; however, I don't believe 78-year-olds are the aimed-at demographic. Tom Brady, a B1G Michigan Man, is on hand. Some interesting stats. KC's Andy Reid is 8-0 versus Eagles DC, Vic Fangio. The Chiefs are 32nd, dead last in the NFL in explosive plays. But 2nd in 3rd downs and eating up the clock on long drives. Vic Fangio plays zone defense 70% of the time. His pass D is first or second everywhere on the field except for passes of 10 to 19 yards where Philly ranks 15th. This is right in Travis Kelce's wheelhouse. Travis leads KC with 616 receiving yards against zone Ds. The Eagles have surrendered 75.7 yards on average to TEs this season. Hmmm? History: The 1967, 1968, and 1969 seasons saw the game called the AFL-NFL World Championship Game. The AFL champion was not competitive in the first two games. In 1969, Joe Namath, who pregame guaranteed the victory, and his AFL Jets upset the NFL Baltimore Colts (Baltimore is not a typo) in the old Orange Bowl in Miami, 16-7. In 1970 the AFL and NFL officially merged. It's the norm today but when Namath left the Pittsburgh area to play for Bear Bryant's Alabama team it was a big deal.
