Interesting who contributed and who didn't. https://247sports.com/college/oregon/longformarticle/oregon-football-ducks-football-lowest-rated-recruits-ducks-recruiting--245907077/#2602194 My favorite Gus Cumberlander!
OregonDucks No. 2 Share Posted Thursday at 02:04 PM (edited) I’m not sure he would qualify (and it’s prior to 2010) but Patrick Chung was a 2-star recruit coming out of high school and the 979th ranked player nationally, according to 247. IIRC, Coach Bellotti said that he arrived as a 16 year old and, after a redshirt season, started 4 years for the Ducks (a DB record 51 straight games) and then became the starting safety for the NE Patriots, winning 3 Super Bowls, and being named to the NE Patriots’ All Dynasty Team in 2010. One of the most “under the radar” recruits in Oregon’s history. Who else would you put on the list? https://247sports.com/PlayerSport/patrick-chung-at-rancho-cucamonga-86110/RecruitRankHistory/?history=composite Edited Thursday at 02:05 PM by OregonDucks
