I’m not sure he would qualify (and it’s prior to 2010) but Patrick Chung was a 2-star recruit coming out of high school and the 979th ranked player nationally, according to 247. 


IIRC, Coach Bellotti said that he arrived as a 16 year old and, after a redshirt season, started 4 years for the Ducks (a DB record 51 straight games) and then became the starting safety for the NE Patriots, winning 3 Super Bowls, and being named to the NE Patriots’ All Dynasty Team in 2010.  

 

One of the most “under the radar” recruits in Oregon’s history.
