sports fan No. 1 Share Posted Saturday at 12:52 AM There is a very important game tonight with Illinois vs. Purdue. The game is at 5 pm on the FOX network. If Purdue wins and the Ducks beat the Huskies, Oregon would have the 7th seed and would play the #10 vs. #15 winner in the Big Ten tournament. If Illinois wins, Oregon ends up with the #8 seed and would play the winner of the Indiana/Ohio State game. Earlier this year, Indiana won at Ohio State 77-76 in overtime. Oregon beat Indiana 73-64 in Eugene and the Ducks beat Ohio State in Columbus 73-71. If Oregon faces Indiana, it will be like a home game for the Hoosiers. Bloomington is only 56 miles away from Indianapolis. If the Ducks don't get that 7th seed, I'd rather see us play Ohio State again.

30Duck Moderator No. 5 Share Posted Saturday at 05:25 PM So, the Ducks play the team they just beat at home, at a "Neutral" court this time, then if they beat Indiana, get No.1, Michigan State. Another "Opportunity"
HDuck No. 6 Share Posted Saturday at 07:31 PM Not men's basketball news, but BYU has terminated women's head coach Amber Whiting. Amber's daughter Amari was an Oregon commit (2023 class) who flipped to BYU after her mother was hired as head coach. She was a Player of the Year in Idaho when she committed to Oregon. She still has eligibility remaining at BYU where she started all 30 games this season. May be interesting to see if she sticks it out at BYU or transfers. If her mom is hired as an assistant somewhere, maybe...
