Charles Fischer Administrator No. 1 Share Posted April 10 An article by John Canzano reminded me of how incredible the final season (2023) of the Pac-12 was with quarterbacks. Bo Nix, Oregon, picked in first round by Denver. Michael Penix, Washington, picked in the first round by Atlanta. Caleb Williams, USC, picked in the first round by Chicago. Cam Ward, Washington State, about to be picked as No. 1 pick in 2025 Draft. Noah Fifita, Arizona Shedeur Sanders, Colorado, about to highly picked in 2025 Draft. Fernando Mendoza, Cal. DJ Uiagalelei, Oregon State Every week was tough on defensive backs...whew! 2 2 Mr. FishDuck

Expand I am over it, as I like the prestige of a Super-Conference that we are doing pretty well in. If we had saved the Pac-12? We would be BURIED right now, and I doubt that we would still have Lanning, etc. as what materialized--turned into a much worse situation for the "have-nots" than I could have imagined. The time-zone thing is REAL... Don't Believe Me? Ask Beavis... 1 Mr. FishDuck
JabbaNoBargain No. 4 Share Posted April 10 (edited) Agree with everything you said, but I still miss all the competent offenses and familiar foes. Not being invisible and in financial ruin trump what I miss. Edited April 10 by JabbaNoBargain

Expand Yep, we clearly had more balance in the Pac-12 at that time, and you had to be ready every week. So many of our B1G games...our opponent did not have a chance. It is a top-heavy conference, and I am glad to be in the top of it. Mr. FishDuck
30Duck Moderator No. 6 Share Posted April 10 Yeah, it was fun, remember that game against ASU. when that QB named Daniels got a 4th and 16? Whatever happened to him? Charles is right, it's a top heavy conference, and last season, OBD was the heaviest. We'll get to know the rest of the teams, it'll take a while, but that's okay. A lot better than having the games on The CW.
