Maryland Run-Rules Ducks 12-2

Recommended Posts

A second game today will start at approximately 12:30 PST...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2-2 after three innings. It is great that our bats are better today, as it is a sunny day there, but Oregon starter Collin Clarke almost melted in the third inning.  I would pull him as he does not have his confidence today, IMHO.

Always hate to leave 3 stranded on base in the 4th.

2-2 after four innings. Ducks strand bases-loaded....aaregg!  But Colin Clarke suddenly got his pitches back, and went 1-2-3 with Maryland batters.

4-2 Maryland after five innings.  Oregon did not replace Clarke when he was showing shakiness, who then got shelled. Then another pitcher was brought in who I have little confidence in, Ryan Featherston, did contain the damage.  Whew!

C'mon Ducks...we can still win this game!

10-2 Maryland after six innings. Oregon's pitching is getting their butts kicked, and it is a shame....
