NJDuck Author Moderator No. 5 Share Posted Wednesday at 06:18 PM Latest Intel From Another Big Visit Weekend, Oregon Spring Game This Week On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuck’s Max Torres and Justin Hopkins dive into the latest Oregon recruiting intel from another big visit weekend in Eugene. Some of the top recruits discussed include 4-star cornerback Davon Benjamin, 4-star safety Jireh Edwards, 4-star safety Jett Washington and 5-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell. Benjamin has been arguably Oregon’s top defensive back target in the 2026 recruiting class for well over a year. He returned to Eugene for an important visit as the Ducks battle USC for one of the best in Southern California. The Ducks have always been high on Benjamin’s list, but he doesn’t look like he’s anywhere near making a commitment. Edwards has been another top priority in the secondary despite being all the way on the other side of the country in Baltimore. It seems like he’s gaining some more clarity in his recruitment and Oregon will have a seat at the table all the way until that recruitment wraps up. Washington is another recruit that’s taking his time. It was his first trip to Eugene since the Ohio State game in the fall and Oregon appears to be separating themselves from the pack and near the top with one other school. Chris Hampton was one of the best recruiters in the country last cycle and he plans to sign another elite haul in 2026. Cantwell returns to Eugene this weekend for his official visit with the Ducks. This is significant because he had previously made it sound like he was finished taking trips and was strictly in decision mode. Oregon is battling Georgia and Miami as On3’s No. 1 player in the country looks for his new home. Will the Missouri connection with head coach Dan Lanning push Oregon over the top? We’ll have to wait and see.
