May 31May 31 Author Moderator Ole Miss isn't UCLA, or Oklahoma or Texas, but this was a big win for the Ducks, their early errors, two by Freshman Rylee McCoy, who was pulled from 1st base, and one by gold glove winning shortstop, Paige Sinicki, ended up not hurting them. The Luschar sisters, Kia, Kendre are a force, and this team always leaves it all on the field.

Either Oklahoma or Texas will be a daunting challenge I was sorry to see the Ducks eliminated in the men's CWS. The National seed Georgia Bulldawgs may not be far behind. Georgia is an enigma--left-handed pitching is their kryptonite and Duke threw nothing but lefties at them today. And they will be facing one of the best lefties in the country in the losers bracket tomorrow. Their problem is plate discipline, specifically swinging at far too many balls out of the strike zone.
