Since our Ducks have a football bye this week, I thought we could take a peak into our upcoming basketball season. This year 15 scholarships are allowed. Oregon currently has 17 players on the roster. Three of these players are Luke Johnson, Drew Carter and Rian Gonzales. I believe these are walk-on players. Please correct me if I am wrong. That would leave 14 scholarship players. I'm wondering if Coach Altman will add another player this late in the year.

I have read a few articles about the upcoming B1G Ten basketball season and it's a bit disappointing. The Ducks are ranked anywhere from # 8 to # 10 in the league this season. With Jackson Shelstad out for a month, this just adds insult to injury. The dreaded Huskies were even ranked ahead of our Ducks. Disgusting! It is a long season and hopefully every one stays healthy from here on out. Go Ducks!
