The five-star recruit is ranked No. 14 by 247Sports and is No. 24 in ESPN’s Top 100. Ariza, a Los Angeles native, will play his senior season at Link Academy in Missouri, a notable prep basketball program. The 6-foot-9 forward is a versatile playmaker and one of the highest ranked prospects to join the Ducks. Ariza is the son of 18-year NBA veteran Trevor Ariza. He most recently played for his father’s alma mater, Westchester High School, where he led the team to a Los Angeles City Section title before joining Link Academy this summer. “We are excited to have Tajh join our program,” Altman said. “He’s a guy that we feel can play multiple positions and make an immediate impact in Eugene.” Mr. FishDuck

Always love have great talent coming into the program. We'll need him to produce right away or we'll be relying on transfers to produce. Bittle will be gone, I would assume Shelstad will stay since he's too small and not quick enough to be a high draft pick, Simpkins will be gone, Evans and Stewart might still be around. Pryor isn't a scorer, after that they'll be a lot of offensive touches to go around. I'll be curious to see how Phillips and Lin develop this season. We could really use a high profile big man to fill the center/4 position that Bittle will be leaving behind.
