December 5Dec 5 Moderator No. Georgia suing a transferred student/Athlete who received $30K for $390K.Georgia seeks $390K from DE Damon Wilson for transfer damages - ESPNThis is not a good look for future recruits.
December 6Dec 6 No. They are trying to scare the other players on the team away from doing something similar. It makes sense strategically if you ignore the fact you have to replace 100% of the players every 4 years and the new players will be too scared to sign. These types of NIL deals are DIRTY! The agents are just as dirty for not refusing to accept this condition in the contract that could ruin the life of a player he is representing. He's a minor and his family could lose their home, be bankrupted or other bad stuff. This is a PR disaster for Georgia.Who could have thought this is a good idea could only be wealthy NIL donors that have gotten rich by screwing over other people, it's how they roll in their backroom dealing and will be shocked at the backlash that comes of this.
