The latest construction update shows an unprecedented indoor facility coming together in eye-catching fashion. The futuristic design is already striking, but it is the sheer scale that jumps off the pageThe project, dubbed “2.Mo.,” is designed as an all-encompassing athlete performance hub, and some of the details are wild. One of the cool factors features is a rooftop players’ lounge overlooking Autzen Stadium, a detail that sounds straight out of a recruiting pitch but is becoming reality. "It's pretty awesome," Oregon coach Dan Lanning said. "I always think a healthy university, you're going to see some buildings going up. And it's really awesome to be able to see that going on in our backyard, and the impact that's going to make for us in future seasons, and how that's going to be really a weapon for our players and our coaches, for us to continue to advance."Lanning also emphasized the benefits of the the closeness of classrooms to the indoor field, recovery rooms, a players lounge, weight room, and indoor temperature control.Oregon Ducks On SINew Construction Update Shows Oregon’s Massive New Facili...EUGENE - What the Oregon Ducks are building in Eugene is starting to look unlike anything college football has seen. 4 hours ago4 hr No. Walking the perimeter on Saturday, the whole length of the north side (next to MLK/Centennial) is a two-story building. Assume it has to be offices, meeting rooms, not just equipment storage. As Waddler noted, I don't recall any of that in the original drawings.
1 hour ago1 hr No. One of the latest proposals before construction indicated 40,000 sq ft of building(s) in addition to the covered field. The original east end proposal doesn't have enough space for 40,000 sq ft; so, that description must also include the north side which I referenced in my earlier comment that appears to have been added since. Athletic dept info says: Weight rooms, locker rooms, student-athlete lounges overlooking the field and multi-purpose event spaces in that 40,000. I assume somewhere in that is also storage for practice related equipment. Or, space for other equipment if the "dome" is used as a multi-use facility.Oh, and then there is this proposal too:https://lookouteugene-springfield.com/story/ducks/2026/01/29/how-big-is-that-o-uo-football-plan-calls-for-eye-popping-o-sign/

Can’t remember a speculated cost for Knight to bring those tons of rock across the Pacific, but it certainly pales by comparison to the on-going construction. But, it was big for those times
