That was indeed a great bounce back by Brown and the team from that now better forgotten effort in SLC. They needed to start fast against the Beavers, and did just that. Across the board the Ducks were the better team, except for the penalties. The Beavers came in ready to deliver the North to WSU, but the Ducks canceled that order.

 

Brown and the Receivers responded to the challenge; Hutson, Williams and McGee. The defense didn't dominate the game, but didn't give up the lead,

 

 Smith has done a great job of coaching the Beavers this season, but Cristobal had the better of him here. Smith's explanation of going for two was as hard to understand as the decision itself.

The big question was how would this team respond to the big let down.
