It does not come as a complete surprise that Oregon finished outside the top 25 (article right here) for 2020 after the bad bowl loss.  However Our Beloved Ducks are already in the Top 15 for 2021 in an early ESPN poll right here.  Cool.

These, "Way Too Early Polls" are all about perception, What level of recognition a team has built is what gets them in a poll like this. ESPN, in this case, believes that Oregon will have a competitive team, their past success shows that.
