He was clearly not ready to be a starter but was forced into it due to QBs transferring out and Herbert getting injured...he was literally thrown to the wolves. DuckFan93 No. 3 Share Posted December 20, 2021 BB definitely got the raw deal when he was here. I am surprised that he is transferring as I thought he was very well accepted at VT and has played well, up to his skill level. His throws are still wobbly as heck, but he runs well. Personally, I am wondering if MC didn't play TT because he was trying to avoid the same mistake with BB... If true, that means these recruiting ratings hold way too much water.
