Tony No. 1 Share Posted January 4, 2022 How about that Rose bowl? Ohio State and the Ducks went in opposite directions after their game in Columbus. It shows the difference between a program that has developed a football culture and one who's head coach consistently spoke in hollow quotes from Navy Seals. While the Buckeyes made coaching changes on the defensive side of the ball, Oregon stayed the course with a below average quarterback in his sixth year. What if Oregon had gone with their young 5 star quarterback and let him develop as the Buckeyes did with Stroud? Hopefully with the new coaching staff, the Ducks will start acting like the big time program it wants to be.

Jon Joseph Moderator No. 3 Share Posted January 4, 2022 But the end game for Utah? How about let Ohio State score without letting the approximately 10 minutes being chewed up before tOSU kicked the close to walk-off winning FG? At least this decision should have been made when Ohio State got into FG territory. The Oregon D was absolutely gassed and the Utes back up QB had put up a TD on an Ohio State D that played better in the 2nd half but was still vulnerable. There is reason why Ryan Day has hired the OK ST DC, who did a great job this season, as the new DC at tOSU.
