Oregon Reigns No. 1 Share Posted December 25, 2020 (edited) The Ducks are the not the favorite with Las Vegas, are rated No. 25, while Iowa State is No. 10 and I would like to think that the Ducks will play hard as the underdog and to "demand respect" for the two-time Pac-12 Champion. The Cyclones have a reverse scenario where they are not used to being the favored team, and for programs that are experiencing the rare air of being in the top-ten...being upset is more likely than happening to this newbie than to a Blue-Blood program. 30Duck Moderator No. 2 Share Posted December 25, 2020 I agree. Not for this bunch of Ducks necessarily, but Oregon is used to NY6 Bowls, this is new territory for ISU. The win over USC, which made the Ducks repeat winners of the conference championship, that's right, Huskies, Ducks, winner of twice as many conference championships as you, should have the Ducks in the right frame of mind to win another Fiesta Bowl. David Marsh No. 3 Share Posted December 25, 2020 Oregon knows what it takes to rise to the challenge. Last year Oregon held Wisconsin's all world rusher to below 100 yards. Oregon has enough players who have now risen into leadership roles who know what it takes and if they lead the rest will follow.

Old Geezer No. 5 Share Posted December 26, 2020 The Ducks have to be aware of hubris. Coach C will have them in a frame of mind of next game up. I look forward to a tight game with the possibility of a last second field goal by our mustached kicker to win it!
SpokaneDuck No. 6 Share Posted December 26, 2020 If the Ducks play like they did against USC, we will win. If we play like we did against the beavers, we will lose. It is in the Ducks hands.
