Bottom of the sixth with runners at the corners and two out, a 2 RBI double for UCLA, ties the game at 4-4. Ducks get the last out.

Well, here we go again. A solo home run gets the Bruins a one run lead after seven innings. UCLA 5 - Oregon 4

And that's a wrap from Westwood, where UCLA sweeps the three games series with Oregon, as the Bruins win game three by a score of 5-4.  All three games were decided by a one run margin.

 

Evidently good pitching does beat good hitting. Oregon has seven starters with a season batting average over .300.

UCLA has only two starters hitting over .300.
