But Williams struggled against top-70 defenses, beginning with when he took over against Texas. He finished with 21 TD passes — but 17 came against weaker defense. He had a 4-3 TD/INT ratio and absorbed 4+ sacks per game against top-70 defenses. It is probably reflective of Lincoln Riley as well. He did well against most teams...until he ran into really good defenses like Baylor. That's why it's not a good thing for LR to move to the B10, he's going to face far more talented defenses far more often than in the Pac12.
