It isn't good when two of the five teams listed in, "Teams that regressed" in recruiting are in the Pac-12, and Arizona would be the third, but they didn't regress, just stayed awful.

Oregon State is killing it in the transfer portal, and picked up a number of former 4-Star players.  It is why their defense improved so much in the last two years...  So Coach Smith is using the scholarships for current transfers, and thus not part of the ranking process.

That is very true, and was pointed out in the article. it is also one of the reasons why the Beavers will finish ahead of the Huskies next season. 

These teams are using the transfer portal a ton. That will only last so long. Very risky to live on the portal.
