To got further than last season, our Diamond Ducks pitching staff will need an Earned Run Average(ERA) improvement on the mound. The hurling staff will need to challenge opposing batters over the coming season yielding an ERA of less than 4.25 (4.73 last season). Unrealistic? That team ~30 miles to the north had a 2022 season ERA of 4.19.
