Ducks hopeful for the return of a few injured Ducks next week

The Ducks secured a much-needed victory on Sunday against Villanova, and they did it without starting center N'Faly Dante,

part-time starting forward Nate Bittle, and once again were without guards Jermaine Cousinard, Keeshawn Barthelemy and Brennan Rigsby.

The Ducks did get the return of junior guard Tyrone Williams after he suffered an injury on Thursday in a loss to UCONN.

More help could be coming soon too.

Richardson's leadership and poise carry Oregon to gritty win over Villanova

It wasn't always pretty, and it was certainly tough, but the Oregon Duck men's basketball team got off their

three-game losing streak by beating Villanova Sunday afternoon in the Chiles Center in Portland 74-67.

Senior point guard Will Richardson scored 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting despite consistent double-teams by the

Wildcats while also adding eight assists and two rebounds, and he committed just three turnovers in 39 minutes of play.

Senior forward Quincy Guerrier had a breakout performance after a slow start to the year

scoring 21 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including six made 3-pointers.
