UO fell 67-57 at No. 18 UCLA on Sunday, as seven of UO's 11 losses have come to a top-25 this season. Each of Oregon's last 10 games have been decided by 10 or fewer points. Oregon is 72-20 all-time against WSU, marking its most wins against a single opponent in program history. The Cougars claimed an 85-84 overtime win in the season's first meeting on Jan. 15 at Matthew Knight Arena to end the Ducks' eight-game winning streak in the series. This five-game win streak is the second longest during Kelly Graves' time in Eugene with a six-game skid in his debut season acting as the longest. Winning creates momentum, and the Ducks don't have much of the latter at the moment. "We've got to see a victory," Graves said during Wednesday's press event. "They've been tough to come by recently." The Ducks had trailed Washington State by as much as six points in the final minute of regulation before the Oregon reserve put down a long three that gave the Ducks the edge as time expired. Yet, officials waved off the play due to a clock operator error. Five minutes of overtime later, and it was the Cougars leaving Matthew Knight Arena victorious and not the home Ducks. "It was definitely a hurt type of feeling," Oregon freshman guard Chance Gray said on Wednesday as the Ducks prepare for Friday's rematch with the Cougars. "You feel like you leave everything out there and that was a crazy game. Hopefully we can turn it around. There's a little bit of anger and a little bit of frustration all combined into one." Friday's defeat in Pullman resembled many of the losses during the skid. The Ducks weren't good enough offensively or defensively, and played without the consistency necessary to end their losing streak. Washington State, which led by as much as 13 points, finished with the season sweep of the Ducks with a 64-57 win. Oregon had won the previous six games at Beasley Coliseum before Friday's defeat. This is first season since 2001-02 that Oregon has lost both regular season meetings with the Cougars. WSU (17-9, 7-8) converted those 17 turnovers into 18 points, holding an 18-8 edge in points off turnovers. "Obviously in the first half the turnovers [hurt], we did a little bit better in that area in the second half, but they outscored us by 10 in the turnovers and that's the final score," said head coach Kelly Graves. "We had been taking care of the ball a little bit better but it bit us tonight.
