Same uniforms worn for the “Civil War” beat down of Beavis last year, only the helmets had wings instead of the O. Wings were better IMHO.

Didn’t see Jabbar Muhammad in the game, nothing in injury updates from Lanning. Any ideas what’s up?

I expect to see James run for 100 yards in the first quarter and then pass the baton to our plethora of running backs for the remainder of the game. I also expect to see some creative use of our uber talented tight ends, but just enough to give Boise State preparation fits.
Physicality will be the mantra of the day as we turn our intense preparation from battling each other toward vanquishing our undermanned opponent.

Couldn't agree more. It doesn't look like we are done either for 2025.
Let us not forget Gatlin Bair for 2026. He should be through with his mission and be ready to enroll by then. Hope our newest ducks don't scare him off. He will be the fastest guy on the team and that is saying something. He was a 5 star.
The last guy that had that Olympic speed out of high school( 10.1 100 meters) was drafted by the Rams. I believe it was Latin Berry. I remember sitting right square in the middle in the middle of Forty Niner honorees Y. A. Tittle , Bob Saint Clair and others in Kesar Stadium when I cheered loudly for the Rams and predicted he would run the opening kickoff back for the second half. He did. The Rams s won beating Joe Montana et al.
I was escorted out at the end of the game by the police for protection.
Keep it going Adams/Lanning
I believe the last Oregon receiver with Olympic speed may have been Devon Allen. He’ll be pursuing gold next week in the 110 Meter High Hurdles.
Go Ducks!

Great news! Better than landing a 5-Star recruit. Brings to mind a question though: Can even the best d-line stop/shut down a prolific passing attack like the Mutts have this year or the Burrows led LSU team in 2019? It almost seems like a pinpoint passing attack can always/usually scheme to nullify even the best and most aggressive d-line.
Looking ahead to facing our Deboer issue next year and beyond, tell me I’m wrong. Please!

Wow, these delusional fans remind me more and more of Dr. Leo Marvin in the movie “What About Bob? The more Bob’s endearing qualities emerge, the more deranged Dr. Marvin becomes. In the final scene he goes completely catatonic when Bob scores the ultimate success: Marrying his favorite sister Lilly! That be like us winning the natty, led by our marvelous staff, show casing our trendy uniforms and celebrating our great alumni support!
Go Ducks!

More enjoyable SC angst, summarized by this quote: Oregon waddling around with a Big Ten swagger would be dangerous.
Commentary: USC may not be able to escape its Oregon problem in Big Ten after all
WWW.LATIMES.COM
USC wants to establish itself as the West Coast power again in the Big Ten, but Oregon could make it difficult if it's invited to join. -

Only if you looking for the negatively.
Perhaps you mean “an,” as that would be grammatically correct.
Mullens stated up front. He is not covering the media deal in this press conference, which means we will get the financials at a later date.
Take a clue. I am getting annoyed with people going out of their way to roll-in-the-mud of negativity when there is no justification for doing so.
Wait for the media deal, and then comment.
Please forgive me for coming across as wallowing in the mud. It was not my intention nor my disposition.

There's also a high probability that getting their butts kicked on a miserably cold day at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa could have a far more negative impact on recruiting than their dated uniforms.

I completely disagree that Riley is overrated. The guy wins 11 games a year like clock work. In ONE year he improved USC from a 4-8 team to 11-3.
USC was one win away from the CFP but their Heisman winning QB was injured and playing on one foot in the P12 championship.
Oregon beat Utah with a quarterback playing on one leg, so that excuse for USC's loss isn't very convincing IMHO.
USC's meltdown against Marshall on the other hand is very convincing if you are suspicious of Riley's long term success.

Hi John Charles. I think the reason it gets bogged down is for the in-game threads, there is a lot of tweets and those take time to load. To be honest with you, I am not that tech savvy to know if there is a way around that. Perhaps there is someone on this site that can answer better.
Thanks! Grateful for all your efforts to keep our forum well supplied with content!

Question to Pennsylvania Duck: Is there a way to scroll through your posts without bogging down my browser? Doesn't happen with any other posts on FishDuck. Thanks!

"But the Duck D unit had enough talent and experience to not allow the Beavers to dominate the last 20 minutes of clock in the Civil War game. The players looked lost or didn't care. 12 games into the season and they couldn't make a stop? With a trip to the PAC title game on the line? GEEZ!"
The lack of effort (above) by our defensive unit will haunt me till they put something different on the field. Even more painful for an avid Duck fan living in Seattle was watching U.W.'s defense, with lesser athletes, have more of a bearing on the game than ours, in our stadium. What is up with that? Very little passion was displayed by last year's unit when the stakes were the highest. Please DL, make it different!

The Ducks quit. They got up 31-10, figured the game was over and got punched in the mouth.
Sometimes the most obvious observation is also the most accurate. Team culture has to evolve.

I can't imagine a good coach would direct a player to purposely play below his skill level in an actual game. Practicing subpar play on gameday doesn't help one become a better gameday player.
I can’t disagree with this sentiment. One of those mysteries of sports how this could be the same guy.

Lanning also mentioned that he was not pleased with how they practiced yesterday, and that if particular players didn't get the job done, they would find players who would. Not sure, but it sounded like he was referring to the guys who are supposed to make tackles on the perimeter. Loved his passion & perspective.

Kirby Smart asked about UGA OL, said it didn't face any adversity so there's still things to sort out.
Ouch.

Surprised and disappointed that the long awaited Sewell & Flowe linebacking tandem didn't have more of an impact on the game. Always felt that if we could just get the two of them healthy and on the field together they would be a major factor. Not sure what to expect going forward.
Also, haven't heard anyone mention the "havoc" factor that Lanning's defenses are coached to create. Didn't look like our d was causing havoc anywhere at anytime--maybe in the DC booth!
