Oregon Breaks Indiana, 73-64
Sounds about right. The winning streak has been great, the Ducks have looked better each game. But the wins haven't been against teams the Ducks will see in the elite 8, the Final Four Ducks team would mop the floor with this team. The Ducks could win the B1G or lose their first game. The ceiling for "March Madness" is a 5, the floor is probably a 7.

Oregon Breaks Indiana, 73-64
First, during the game, Casey Jacobson mentioned that Indiana coach Mike Woodson was on the Hoosiers team that beat Oregon, with Ronnie Lee, in 1978. Sorry Casey, Ronnie wasn't on that team, he was on the '73 team, but Woodson wasn't. Shelstad with another big time 3, and Bamba has really played well during the 6 game winning streak.

Oregon Breaks Indiana, 73-64
35-32 Ducks at half. It felt like there were a couple of times when the Ducks were a stop away from getting some real separation, but, it didn't happen, and Indiana actually took the lead. The Ducks had a chance at a powerplay, with an injured Hoosier on the floor, but they missed.

Interesting Tez Johnson Combine Comments
This is the same as why Tez was overlooked as an All-American. Those were chosen by stats, the Draft is about the measurables, because he missed basically 4 games, the stats weren't there, and his measurables don't jump out. But the game tape does.

Great Scott! Who Would Hire the Former Pac-12 Commissioner?
Completely agree. The Blazers are in NBA Purgatory, make the Playoffs, lose early, miss the Lottery. They're in a nice run right now, hopefully it doesn't get them in the Playoffs, and maybe they'll get a good pick in a deep draft. Billups has to go, so does Cronin, status quo is a no go for the Blazers.

Oregon Breaks Indiana, 73-64
The Ducks are 11-2 on Senior Day under Altman, they lost the first one, but won the second, 94-48 over Utah and would win the next 9, until a buzzer beater by USC beat the Ducks, 70-69, in 2022, The Ducks won last season, and this one is as crucial as ever. Oregon is 0-3 against Indiana, first time at Indiana in 1966, then two times in the Far West Classic, in '73 & '78. Great Scott! Who Would Hire the Former Pac-12 Commissioner?
Stay away, LPGA. I to have been following the Blazers the last couple of weeks. Last night they beat the 76ers, the game before they blew an 18 point lead and lost to the Cavaliers in OT. They are getting perilously close to the Playoffs, which, yes, is not where they want to be. Even if they don't get the 1st pick, and Flagg, this is a deep draft; whoever they get would add to the team and maybe a chance to actually make some noise in the Playoffs. This should be a good NFL Draft for Duck watching, and, which team will pick Skattebo?

Oregon Comes from Behind and Smashes USC 82-61!
Win the last two, at least one in the B1G tournament, this can happen.

Oregon Comes from Behind and Smashes USC 82-61!
Before he had to leave to deal with other matters, Albert shared this observation: Angel should not be in the starting line-up, Evans should. In the starting line-up, Angel is the 4th option, behind, Bittle, Shelstad, Barthelemy. Put him in the 2nd line, with Cook, Tracey & Moss, with either Shelstad or Barthelemy, he'd be more active as the 2nd option.

Oregon Comes from Behind and Smashes USC 82-61!
It looks good. Right now: Illinois: 10-8, has tie-breaker over Oregon, best case: 12-8, worst case: 10-10, @ Michigan, Purdue Oregon: 10-8, has tie-breaker over osu2, best case: 12-8, worst case, 10-10, Indiana. @ Washington Indiana: 9-9, best case, 11-9, worst case, 9-11. @ Oregon, osu2 osu2: 8-10, best case, 10-10, worst case, 8-12. Who Needs Spring Football? Not when Diamond Ducks Obliterate Columbia 35-1!
How is it that Oregon "Run Rules" Rhode Island, 15-2, then beats Columbia 35-1? I didn't think Run Rule existed in baseball.

Oregon Comes from Behind and Smashes USC 82-61!
That is impressive. A great win, 10-27 on 3's, 27 is a lot of attempts, but the Ducks won anyway. If only Dante...Bittle is the MVP, offense, defense, he has grounds to be the B1G POY. Shelstad has been playing his best since the start of the season, Bamba as well. Angel is still the least impactful starter I can remember. 21-8, 10-8 in conference, the L's to Minnesota and Nebraska still sting, but given the balance of the B1G, they aren't bad losses. Michigan squeaked by Rutgers 84-82 yesterday.

Oregon Comes from Behind and Smashes USC 82-61!
The start was bad, but it didn't take long for the Ducks to get back in, ant take control of the game. I like that it wasn't just a barrage of 3's. Good D, good movement, no foul trouble.

Interesting Tez Johnson Combine Comments
I don't think osu2 took Oregon seriously the first time because they saw Oregon as that school from the Pac-12. They had flashy uniforms, and some said that Autzen could get loud. Osu2 believed that their talent level advantage was enough to come in and get the win. My opinion of course.
-
Interesting Tez Johnson Combine Comments
Tez will always be one of my favorite Ducks, but I think he's flying off course with this. Osu2 definitely out schemed OBD in the Rose Bowl, but I think Skill v Skill osu2 comes out ahead as well. The Buckeyes didn't take the Ducks seriously at all in first game and almost won anyway.

2025-2026 College Football: Best Returning QBs?
ASU even without Skat is my 2nd favorite team! From the mountain tops I will shout that transfer QB Moore will have more success at the O than will Beck at the U. I believe that Franklin/PSU will go 0-2 vs, the O's. Sark with Manning and that schedule! Will either DeBoer or Kelly beat out Kirby with Georgia's gauntlet?

The Teams, Coaches, and Players Who Have the Most to Prove Next Season
Great article. My first thought for coach, team, QB, was Alabama. DeBoer is coaching for is job in 2025, and just making the CFP might not be enough, them if DeBoer is out, what coach would want to jump in to that mess? Oregon, as noted, left the post season abruptly the last two seasons. 2025, with a new QB, new lines, new WR's, new RB's, new secondary, new kicker is not th season when Oregon HAS to win the Natty. USC? I don't see the urgency, with Riley, USC is what it is. He's brought in some players, particularly on defense, but talent isn't the issue at USC. Riley's tenure should be tenuous, but it hasn't been yet. Franklin might be in some trouble, after losing to osu2 during the season, and to Oregon in the B1G CCG, the path to the Natty was cleared for Penn State, and they stumbled and fell. If Penn State's passion for football is higher than it is at UCLA, or Cal, Franklin is out if the Lions don't roar in 2025. Last year, "Google, me, I win" Cignetti was the story, except for Finebaum, nobody else noticed or cared, that the: "emerging superpower" was racking up the wins with a schedule produced by Sara Lee. We can't tell now, but the forecast says that the schedule in 2025 isn't going to be a gauntlet. Now that his Heisman winner & QB kid are gone, what does Prime do in 2025? Cristobal a QB Whisperer now? No Skattebo at ASU? What does Dilly do for an encore?

Oregon Football: Evan Stewart’s Role in 2025
50/50 says a receiver is just as likely to not make the catch. Give me a 60/40 receiver, which I think Stewart can be and I'll get excited.

Goofiest Rankings Ever
I saw this yesterday with the title, "Oregon Could Regress in 2025" Not exactly Broadway Joe's guarantee that the Jets would win Super Bowl lll. New QB, new OL & DL's, new secondary, new WR's, new RB's. But, as far as I know, Oregon's going to play in 2025.

Spring Games and Series Cancellations
Absolutely. The Conference Tournaments work in Basketball because there are so many teams, and rarely undefeated even in conference play, The regular season champion will get in, the CT champ gets in, but not necessarily a high seed, (see how that works, CFP formatters.)
