Oregon Misses Their Shot at a Win, Lose at Michigan 80-76.
Freshman Tajuan Porter scored 38 points and set a new school record with 10 3-pointers to lead Oregon to a 116-68 win against Portland State on Sunday in the Basketball Travelers Classic tournament. Porter, who is averaging 31 points and seven 3-pointers after three games, was 12-for-14 from the field and 10-for-12 from the 3-point line before leaving the game with seven minutes to play.

On3 Ranks the Top 25 Coaches in CFB
Well, I can't really find much to argue against your list, I still don't know what I think about Day, the credit for the Rose Bowl romp sits mainly on Chip. I still see Day as the coach who wins when his teams talent advantage is overwhelming. Whittingham has done a great job at Utah, and very likely would have some Natty's at a marquee program. Swinney has stayed away from the Portal, seems to have opened it a little bit, next season Clemson will be back. DeBoer actually did quite well with a QB exactly opposite of what he is best with, 5 for Freeman is a bit high. I think what Fisch did at UW last season was more impressive than what Cignetti did at Indiana. Cignetti didn't turn the team that went 3-9 the year before to 11-2.

Oregon Misses Their Shot at a Win, Lose at Michigan 80-76.
He was. He burst on the scene, 5'7 but he could score. He was named MVP of the Pac-10 tournament. The Ducks made it to the elite 8 against defending champion, Florida, that's when it ended. Porter still holds most if not all 3 pt Oregon records, but it wasn't working against the Gators. Porter went 2-10 from downtown, 2-12 overall, Florida won, 85-77.

Will a Former All Time Duck be the Quarterback for the Raiders in 2025?
The AFC west already has Justin Herbert with the Chargers, Bo Nix at Denver, there's a chance that Marcus Mariota, currently doing a good job backing up Jayden Daniels at Washington, could be reunited with his former coach, now OC, Chip Kelly, at Las Vegas, who currently have the 6th pick in the coming NFL Draft. I don't know if Sanders, and Ward will still be there, Will Howard could be another connection with Chip.

Last 3 minutes, Ducks went 0-6, when down by 2, Shelstad throws the ball to Altman instead of Bittle, later Bamba misses the front end of a 1 & 1.

Oregon Misses Their Shot at a Win, Lose at Michigan 80-76.
In their least pathetic half of basketball in a long OBD are only down 41-36 to Michigan at halftime. The Ducks are firing up 3's, to nobody's surprise, and actually hitting 50%. Unfortunately, the game turned on a 11-0 run by Michigan, aided by back to back 3's for the home team. The difference in the game is what has been really bad for OBD lately, Michigan is doing anything it wants in the paint.

Ronnie Lee Was Somebody
He's the Duck that wore 30. Of all the problems we're seeing with the 2024/25 team, toughness, leadership are what's missing. That was not the case with the Kamikaze Kids. He started on a team that went 6-20, that didn't happen again. I wish that everybody here could have experienced a game at Mac Court, "The Pit". You think Autzen gets loud? A library compared to "The Pit". You've heard of the scoreboard shaking overhead, the baskets moving, you would almost get seasick. Opposing coaches hated playing there. not just because of the noise. Up until Harter arrived, taking a charge, diving for a loose ball, making players pay for getting too close to the rim didn't happen, UCLA was the pace setter, and their style was finesse. Wooden hated Mac Court, but Bill Walton loved it.

LaMichael James is Oregon's All Time Best Running Back, Who's Next?
Originally, Mel Renfro was going to be a Beaver! At the last minute he changed his mind and did go on to have one of the best careers, on both sides in football and track and field, in Oregon history. Believe me, there would have been NOISE if I had been there, very surprised, SHOCKED, at the lack of recognition, respect coming from the Autzen crowd for Ronnie Lee, throw in unimaginable! "The greatest basketball player in school history!"

Altman: "This Team is Going to Have to Figure it Out"
I agree with this not being Altman's style, which I appreciate. But waiting for this team to take the annual "Altman Leap" might not work this time. Watching their games has turned into the definition of insanity.

Is Stein Oregon's Best Option at OC?
The offense that really worked for osu2 in the Rose Bowl, was Chip, it did not look like anything we've seen from Stein, I doubt he's the TOP candidate for the job. Actually, with Lanning's success at hiring Coordinators, Stein to the Buckeyes might not be all bad.

Oregon Football: Where Will Gabriel Land in the NFL?
This would be amazing. The reason QB salaries have reached the ridiculous level they have is because the next one is always higher than the others. Brady was different, he was never the highest paid QB, which in a salary cap sport is helpful, but he never had really highly paid teammates. Mahomes is currently No.12 on the highest paid list. Every QB needs talented players around him, Montana had Rice and Taylor, but I see Purdy more similar to Garoppolo.

Can a Players Only Meeting Save Oregon's Basketball Season? They Just Fell Out of the Top 25.
The Oregon Ducks men's basketball team lost to the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Sunday night, and their ranking suffered the consequences in the Week 14 edition of the AP Top-25 Poll. Oregon coach Dana Altman and his team are now unranked and completely out of the top-25 after being No. 16 team only a week ago.

FanDuel Odds to Win the B1G in 2025
If Texas can win this one, with Arch Manning at QB, Texas is off to a great start, if osu2, with new QB, new OC, new DC wins...the lunatic fringe won't think they won by enough, "Fire Day!"

LaMichael James is Oregon's All Time Best Running Back, Who's Next?
LMJ went from Chip's offense to Harbaugh's in the NFL, couldn't be a bigger adjustment, on a different team, who knows? A player's future in the NFL depends so much on where they play. As far as NFL success, how about LeGarrette Blount?

Can a Players Only Meeting Save Oregon's Basketball Season? They Just Fell Out of the Top 25.
Apparently, there was a POM after the game against Nebraska. If it was anything like the games they've been playing since conference play started, they just stood around and looked at each other. On one hand it's hard to grasp how this season has turned around, except that if you're going to grab wins, early in a season is when to do it. Anybody think Oregon would have been competitive with Alabama in a game 2 weeks after the first one? They win when 3's go down, If those aren't all the other problems we've diagnosed take over. They were "proud" of their ability to come from behind, but that was false bravado, they had to come from behind against Portland. If anything was going to convince them that coming from behind was a red flag it should have been the first UCLA game, but it didn't.

LaMichael James is Oregon's All Time Best Running Back, Who's Next?
I agree that stats don't automatically equal Best. But if I put Bucky in the Blur instead of LMJ, I don't see him putting up better stats, I don't see where he's superior to LMJ.
