A couple buddies and I are going to make about a 4 hour drive to the Rutgers game in a couple weeks.

Anybody familiar with the Rutgers scene? Parking? Tailgating? Other helpful tips?

I already lived this once, as I watched, losing Oregon Duck teams as a teenager in the 80s, (including the infamous toilet bowl of 1983)

Listening to my SiriusXM radio yesterday and good old coach Neuheisel along with Ohio State alum Ben Hartsock. 
 

Neuheisel said that Oregon beat Ohio State earlier this year when Dan Lanning “pulled a rabbit out of a hat”with his 12 men on the field call to get the win.

 

Of course, Hart-Suck had to agree and add about the offensive pass interference call. 
 

ESPN’s latest article is also all about how Ohio State has gone on a tear since their loss to Oregon and wants revenge, (they forgot Michigan?!)

 

I didn’t think it could get any sweeter when we beat the Suckeyes the first time, but there is plenty of motivation to beat them again.

 

 

 

 

I just got my latest Sports illustrated in the mail and on the cover was Patrick Mahomes?! How many weeks at number one have the Ducks been and not even a mention or a story Inside, let alone the cover? 
 

Maybe I am one of the last few guys that likes to read a printed copy of something including a newspaper. Anybody else feel the same?

 

At least they are still putting out the swimsuit issue  😉

Extremely Dumb and Delusional!

I was just listening in as my wife watched. Good morning America this morning.
 

Their college football “authority” Jess Sims previewed conference championships. Of course being an ESPN/ABC affiliate she only spoke at any length about the SEC championship game and then mentioned at the end that the schedule was the ACC championship game at one, the SEC championship game at five and then the “ACC”championship game at eight.

 

I guess there are two ACC championship games,(maybe Miami gets in one after all. Ha ha ha) and no mention of the BIG championship 

game or Oregon or Penn State at all?!
 

I feel that the Ducks are the least media covered number one team I can remember. That’s my vantage point from the east Coast. 
 

How does it seem to others elsewhere?

Great 3rd quarter drive. Line looked great. Nice mix of run and pass. 

Joel Klatt just says “how about these defenses partner showing up for the third quarter” about the Ohio State Michigan game.

 

Way to spin it,Joel. How about just saying these offenses look pathetic.

What was really annoying was how they kept replaying it with the announcers acting like it was the greatest original thing to do. 🤮

 

If you can’t say it, (as a 54 year old man) I will: “SANDERS FAMILY GET OFF MY LAWN!!”

Now that my blood pressure has come back under control, I have got to be happy with 11-0.
I do have to wonder if missing Harper has messed up our O-line and messes up the offense even more than we miss Tez. 

 

I am good with 9-0 but just puzzled at the lack of offensive output in the third quarter and second half in general. Is it complacency or personnel?
