  1. Yep. I wish everyone would wait for the FACTS, and then judge it. We have no idea what the linear or Tier 2 will pay yet, and this can certainly add to our revenue as can additional subscribers as Happy mentioned.
  2. Whoever created it is very knowledgeable of the situation and how it all works. And they hit me with some off-the-wall stuff that I thought was pretty funny.
  3. Before people ask...."the offensive line is different," I was respond with how four of the starters I see on the O-Line are quite experienced in the Dilly/Stein offense, and I categorize it that way because Stein and Lanning have said that there is a ton of cross-over in both offenses. QB recruits recently have said the same thing about the similarities, so I expect we will see the same plays as last and some new wrinkles thrown in that are Stein's twist to it.
  4. Oregon was the 10th highest scoring in the nation last year at nearly 39 points a game. (38.8) My goal for Stein is 40 points per game, of which would be a modest improvement--of which I would be over-the-moon-over and more than happy with that. Can that happen? Yes, because I actually think Stein has more weapons this year than Dilly had. (Hear me out!) For Stein...he loves many of the same pulling-power plays as Dilly. He likes the same strategy of "fooling-them" once in a while, but the difference is that Stein likes to throw long more often. I believe he has more deep threats than Dilly had, as Franklin was just learning he could catch a bomb and now knows he can. I believe Gary Bryant Jr. and Traeshon Holden are also deep threats. This is really going to open up the running game, and the mid-level drag routes across the middle more. Our tight ends could clean-up, and thus this could be a more balanced offense since Helfrich and highly prolific. If you have doubts about Stein....read my article below. Will Stein: Oregon's New OC and Miracle-Maker? FISHDUCK.COM The title looks like classic hype to promote a blah-blah article, or serves as typical web click-bait. Yet those of you who have watched my videos and read my…
  5. A group shot of the B1G mascots, and look who is snuck into the top row?
  6. If Stein can coach like he can recruit....it's another great hire by Dan Lanning. (And based upon what he did last year at UTSA with a terrible offensive line--I know he can coach.)
  7. Eugene Safety Bryce Boettcher (below) has been moved to Inside Linebacker, and I am guessing to the MONEY position, since it requires more speed. I think he is perfect there, as he has the bulk and the interest in hitting needed at that position. JJ Greenfield is not on the roster, and Coach Lanning confirmed he is no longer with the team. Below is the roster supplied yesterday at the Media events.
  8. The questions are...what is it, and WHEN?
  9. Look, you know me. I am always looking to find some humor through the darkest, and this is pretty good.
  10. Wait a minute...another video of Ohio State's Brutus with The Duck? I recognize that waterfall at Autzen... Is this a gradual buildup of joining the B1G? Could that be what Dan is smiling and so confident about? Perhaps the "big vision" statement issued by Rob Mullens was in reference to that? Are we fans being played...in a positive way? Or...
  11. This is very cryptic, makes me curious and when an Oregon staffer and a mod at ScoopDuck liked it--huh? That along with the praying hands from Travis, and how both those guys have connections into the program? Something is about to go down, as another clue is the way Dan answered the question from Crepea that a lot is coming next, and just sit back and watch. Lanning did this with a huge smile on his face. This below is perhaps another clue?
  12. I am hoping that the 20 million is for Tier One rights, and we scratch up more due to Apple selling rights to a number of games to appear on linear/TV as Tier Two rights. Oregon vs. USC will fetch a pretty penny...
  13. Yeah. We've had a lot of people declare the end...yet that is NOT the end. Oregon will be fine no matter what. It sucks if it all turns out to be true, but Our Beloved Ducks will survive it better than ANYONE in the current Pac-12.
  14. I'm predicting a BIG number...
  15. Dan Lanning putting "little-boy" Colorado in its place... As I stated before...."I know an easy team to schedule for a P5 Non-Conference game!"
  16. These teams are tough, and their coaches are good. Yet it is a perfect schedule to make the Playoff; win these super-challenging games vs. ranked opponents and we are in. Difficult? Sure, but this experienced savvy team can do it! 12-0 Baby! Mr. FishDuck discussing the Ducks...
  17. Amen Duck-Buddy. So many of these writers do not even know the Ducks very well, and provide what I call "blah-blah" articles to fill their assignment to their publisher. As a publisher at FishDuck, I do not allow such articles, and insist upon our writers offering something new in terms of facts or a perspective that has not been covered, thus the reader is rewarded for taking time on a FD article. And thankfully...none of our writers want to write nonsense articles. They are all-volunteer, and want to contribute something to fellow fans. I love them dearly! Now about the receiver room--you are right on in that anyone who does not see the real state of the receivers at Oregon is just uninformed. Gary Bryant Jr. had receiving numbers at USC in 2021 that was better than anyone at Oregon, and he was a raw freshman. Last year he could see after two games that Riley was going to use "his" guys brought from Oklahoma, thus he quickly stepped away to transfer. He is going to be money for the Ducks. With him on one side, and Troy Franklin on the other with Will Stein's offense? Bombs away, baby! Now, throw in Tez Johnson who resembles a DAT-Light to me, Kris Hutson, and we have a core of wide-outs who are going to score often.
  18. Nope. I let the other sites cover it, and I thought they did a good job. Fun to read about some prospects…
  19. The pressure this play puts on the linebackers is brutal, as they can't cover them all!
  20. My reaction to a click-bait two-paragraph article like that? More nonsense...yeah, Clemson and Florida State are going to break their ACC contract this week.
  21. Right. It was in a thread posted this morning...
