  2. My friends, you gotta wait a bit for the Tweet to load, but baby, try watching that--especially the end without your eyes glistening a touch.
  3. This is a good article going over the pros and cons... Thank you Pennsylvania Duck!
  4. I cannot imagine any insights better than this community has already covered, and I'd bet we have a few better than they do. (But I am highly biased!)
  5. If you are interested--go up to the upper corner and click on the envelope and send a personal message (PM) to DucksWinTheDay to work it out.
  6. Doggone it...there you go with those pesky facts again! As always--you make great points and I do appreciate the feedback.
  7. Something most of us forget is...if you go with an inexperienced QB in Ty or Butters...you are trashing the season. They will make more costly mistakes than Nix as they go through their learning curve. Play them at garbage time and get them ready, but giving them the car keys is asking for a pile-up, IMHO. I would like see more the defensive scheme revealed, as we saw almost no blitzes...for pass or run last Saturday. We played base a ton, and the Bulldogs chewed it up.
  8. Hello My OBD FishDuck Forum Friends! What is your prediction versus Eastern Washington? Take your shot and let's have fun with it... Lets get these predictions started and remember I look for the spread with then the closest score that has the spread correct. I need all the data from you! Entries without all the information are invalid, and predictions on other threads don't count as I am not going to hunt them all down. I am no longer going to PM three or four people who don't read directions each week. Please follow directions, as I need all that is below for tiebreakers: --the winner --the score --the amount of turnovers Oregon creates --the number of sacks Oregon records on the opposing team --the number of passing yards by the Ducks. My guess is: Oregon 45-17, 3, 4, 313 Tomorrow we will have an extraordinary humorous/skewering Saturday Spoof of the Bulldogs by Alan Lohner that you will want to get up early to read and pass along to your friends. We will also have a GameDay thread for those who want to discuss the game as it is happening.
  9. They are really moving forward on this, and the details are mind-boggling. But this is good news for Oregon fans... College Football Playoff expansion issues including scheduling models, revenue distribution being debated - CBSSports.com WWW.CBSSPORTS.COM Stakeholders will decide when will the expanded playoff will begin, what the schedule looks like ... and who will be getting paid From yesterday's FishDuck Feed posted by Pennsylvania Duck.

  11. Yep, and there are tasty beverages besides! We love yellow in the crowds! I sent a special email out as I'm having two photographers at this game shooting...just because it is going to be a yellow background. It is the best.
  12. My friends...this really is true, and when I think of how tough it has been recruiting to the defensive line over the years? Do we believe it? Yeah Baby! Many thanks to those posting articles in the FishDuck Feed, as this came from that Pinned Topic at the top of the forum, and you gotta check it out--all of each day's Oregon Sports News in one place? Cool! Oregon Piecing Together Elite Defensive Line Class - On3 WWW.ON3.COM Oregon has commitments from 7 defensive line prospects in the 2023 recruiting cycle. Dan Lanning is putting together an elite class.
  13. I will politely disagree; the second one hit him in the hands, thrown at his numbers. The first was tough, but should have been caught. Anything in the reachable radius of a receiver should be caught, IMHO.
  14. Seven was a true freshman last year playing, and is a sophomore now. But he should have come back and fought for the ball; I don't think the pick would have happened if it was thrown to Cota, for example. It was on both the QB and WR, IMHO.
  15. Amen. The defense lost that game for us and looked unbelievably bad in so many ways. Still stunned at it.
  16. Completely agree, and it looked like Seven slowed down on the route...to fight for the ball instead of being lead to the ball. Then, he didn't fight for the ball after all, and that is a newbie out there. And again--I think it would have been different with Thornton or Franklin as well. Throw to the little guys on the crossing routes, and throw to the tall guys on the fades or "Go" routes. Kinda common sense, Dilly?
  17. It would appear that Salu has a little better feet than I gave him credit for? Good for him.
  18. The back-up QB is always the most popular player on the team...when the QB question would first materialize...I wanted Graziani over O'Neil, Leaf over Dixon and Costa over Thomas. And back then....I was able to see a whole lot more practices than we do now and I was flat out wrong...stupid-wrong with most of them. This is great stuff to discuss, but to boo the coach over it in his first five games? I do not think that is cool at all. Do not take the frustrations of the last three years out on a new coach...please.

  20. Some details from the media kit sent to credentialed media for Oregon Athletics, and there are some facts to be proud of for all Oregon fans. --Oregon is one of just three teams in FBS to reach the conference championship game in each of the last three seasons. --The Ducks have won 17 straight home openers averaging 56 points. --Oregon is on a 19 home game winning streak, the third longest in the nation. (I wonder why teams back out of a home-and-home?) --The Ducks have a 28 game home nonconference winning streak, the second longest in FBS. --Chase Cota is just 93 yards away from 1,000 receiving yards for his college career. --Bo Nix needs just 94 more yards to have 1,000 yards rushing in his college career. --Cam McCormick is wearing No. 18 on Saturday in honor of Spencer Webb. --Cam McCormick is a seventh year senior, and yet has another year of eligibility! The stat that might explain a ton in addition to a new coaching staff? ----Oregon is tied for fourth-most underclassmen in the nation with 96 or an astounding 76.2% of the roster. (Wow!) I do like the fans wearing yellow!
