  1. Past the initial wave of joy about once again beating the Huskies (and in their house), the true and enduring reward for me as a UO alum living in Seattle is a significant drop off in having to deal with Husky fan arrogance any time college football is discussed or school colors are worn. Sure, it is still there at times as UW fans will occasionally say something stupid or offensive. But, it's a lot less. The last 20 years has been great! We own those guys.
  2. LOVE IT! I was there…in seats near the catch. I saw the ball and Pat Johnson coming at me. And then that spectacular catch! An all time live highlight for this Duck fan!!!!!
  3. Kirlandduck, great story. I live in Seattle and it has been great to be a UO alum and Duck fan here for many years. Your story points out something I also notice about UW fans. They WILL go out of their way to confront Oregon fans - in the street like in your story, at a pub, at the coffee shop, anywhere. Lets not even talk about what happens at Husky Stadium. Often it's good natured, sometimes not. I could not imagine going over to someone in a rival school hat and start giving them crap, but UW fans often feel just fine doing it. Oh well, we know where the class is....and where the delusion is.
