  1. My initial thoughts were, “Not interested.” But if Dan Lanning sees something, then hard to argue. Just hope it’s not a move due to lack of better options.
  2. And conversely, Colin Cowherd and Joel Klatt (with Fox and in bed with B1G) were discussing how the SEC had a weak/down year on their show a couple days ago.
  3. Five-star Oregon WR signee Dallas Wilson granted release, wants to play at Florida, agent says WWW.NYTIMES.COM Wilson's agent said the receiver wants to play at Florida, which is two hours from his Tampa home and near an ill family member.
  4. I think Travis Hunter is a product of the Prime hype machine. Don’t get me wrong, it’s impressive to play both sides of the ball. My deciding criteria for him is that I’ve never felt compelled to tune in to watch him. He’ll win the Heisman, but he wouldn’t get my vote. Jeanty would get my vote. He threatened records that haven’t been touched for decades. He may have played inferior competition (except for the #1 team in the nation), but his QB and OL fall in that “inferior” category, too. Like @Solar said earlier, Jeanty’s combination of size, speed, strength/power, and balance looks generational. When Jeanty played the #1 team in the nation, with a fully healthy, Lanning/Lupoi-coached defense, he ran for 192 yards. He ran for more yards than the BSU offense’s total passing yards (148). And he did that despite Oregon knowing that their ONE objective on defense was to stop Jeanty. Dillon Gabriel has been awesome this year. I won’t argue anyone who thinks he’s deserving of the Heisman. If he wins it I’ll do nothing but cheer.
  5. I’ve had enough of the “neutral field” farce! For starters, Georgia played Texas in . . . wait for it . . . Atlanta, GEORGIA. Then Oregon played PSU in Indianapolis, IN. Some facts: - 2,265 miles (31 hour drive): PDX to Lucas Oil Stadium - 498 miles (7 hour drive): PSU to Lucas Oil Stadium Made me sick seeing that stadium nearly full with PSU fans; it was a home game for PSU. How about picking a venue equidistant from the two teams. Duck fans (or any fans) shouldn’t have a higher barrier to entry in the form of cost to attend.
  6. No idea who should be ranked higher, but sure would be fun to see them square off. The BCS bowl game format would have given us that
  7. I yelled at him to “shut the he!! up” multiple times during the game for all the same reasons you mentioned. Now that I wrote that out, am I a little embarrassed that I was yelling at the TV when no one could hear me? A little.
  8. I’ve always been partial to Kenny Dillingham. i was mesmerized by his dynamic, multiple offense. Seemed like every player on the offense was a threat in KD’s system. That said, I’m no Xs/Os guru, and I feel like I’m splitting hairs.
  9. Agree! Unquestionably Dillingham.
  10. Definitely a click-bait title . . . shame! I like all the arguments made in the article, and would be fine if they switched to the outlined format. That said, I really like watching the Ducks as much as possible. Any Saturday without Ducks football feels empty. So, while logic and reason may say Oregon shouldn't have to play Saturday, I couldn't be happier to watch them go against a big-time opponent on a big stage.
  11. Agreed! This is what happens when you don't have PM at QB, AND you don't have Andy Reid designing the offense and guiding/telling you what plays to call.
  12. I LOVE them. I’ve always loved the black uniforms, and those green helmets with the “O” are pristine!
