It seems that Ashford might end up a the QB1 for Auburn. That said, which team made out better? Oregon with Nix or Auburn with Ashford, James and Jones?
I think Auburn got 3 really good players as seen from their stats in The Oregonian article. However, the Ducks need a QB who can run Dillingham’s offense while the others learn. I have a feeling we would be 1-2 without Nix at this point.

Clemson is in ACC?
Yes, but they’re not too daunting. By next season Miami and Clemson will have the most talented rosters in the ACC. Mario will shrink that talent gap with his recruiting.
Although he leaves the fans scratching their heads most of the time, he can pull off big wins. The 2018 Washington game, the 2019 and 2020 Pac12 CG’s and last year’s OSU game comes to mind.

Pac-12 Power Rankings entering Week 4

After a wild week in the Pac-12, we update the Power Rankings. The top of the conference looks very strong, which makes it very hard to order. -

Been reading Miami fan boards. Seems a lot of Miami fans have bought into Mariø 'blame the players' tactics.
Many of us Ducks fans got caught up in blaming Brown. Turns out AB is a decent QB.
Trust us Canes fan when we say it's all Mariø. Duck fan has hindsight. You were warned, now you get what you get.
I went and checked one of their forums and this is absolutely correct. Most blame the players and the ones who blame the play calling are called out. I find it hard to believe that their QB went from Heisman contender to scrub in 3 games. They’ll eventually figure it out, but it’s hard because they will pull off some big wins and likely win the ACC under Mario.

Most households have internet, Smart TV’s, Roku, tablets, laptops, etc. The folks who will have problems are those who live in areas where the internet service is slow or sporadic. Some parts of my own neighborhood can’t get cable internet, so they have to use dish and really slow satellite internet because that’s all there is. Some people are starting to get Starlink, so it’s getting better.

In reading these Tweets, there are a lot of Duck fans basically saying “I told you so”. I wonder if Miami gets it yet.

Their entire team looks solid even though CSU isn’t very good. Martin Stadium is a tough place to play as well. I was at the game in 2014 when the Ducks barely squeaked out a win. Their fans will be there in full force. It’s going to be a challenge to come out of there with a win. This will be a good test.

They had way more total yards, almost twice as many first downs, and their defense actually played pretty good. They should have won this game. I now understand what you guys have been saying about Mario. And yes, the QB’s talent was wasted. Just a mind blowing display. I’ve no words to describe the play calling in the red zone!
Is he wasting QB talent or saving it for a lucky NFL team? I suspect TVD will be rookie of the year after he gets drafted. He’ll have the freshest arm in the league.

I like the bit about the BYU national championship, but hat’s how it was done back then. If they still used that system in 2017 then UCF would’ve actually been the national champions and Scott Frost would be an unemployed championship coach instead of just an unemployed coach.

This is a nice story on MC. I can appreciate why he went back to The U, but I don’t have to like the circumstances behind it. I still think that this week is one that will overwhelm him. Much like Stanford in 2018, Auburn in 2019, and Beavis in 2020; I predict that defeat will be snatched out of the jaws of victory.

Good coaches take bad losses. However, losing a payout game to a FCS team is inexcusable when you have a talented roster. It shows that you didn’t prepare your team well.
There are exceptions, of course. Like if you’re in your first year with unfamiliar players. This happened to Saban in his first season at Bama. It takes time to rebuild a roster.
Now, to answer your question. I would rather be Jimbo, but only for this upcoming week. That’s because I know that MC will likely find a way to hand me a win.

This was the grade given to Miami for the game yesterday by CBS Sports, odds were 100-1 for win
The boo birds were out when Miami entered the locker room at halftime up 10-7 on Southern Miss.
Running back Henry Parrish Jr. looked good on the ground and quarterback Tyler Van Dyke spread the ball
around nicely as the Hurricanes pulled away to a 30-7 win. It wasn't a complete game by any means, though.
Grade: C-
That’s another thing Mario loves about coaching Miami. When the fans boo him it’s not as noticeable when there are only a couple thousand people in the seats.
