The Case against Mc Coy was dismissed because of lack of evidence. This doesn't mean he is innocent or guilty. Only there was not enough evidence.

Just remember back we had a player charged with charges of menacing, strangulation and assault.  We all know how that turned out. I believe he could be a high risk high reward type of player. He would certainly need to be on a short leash with no room for any transgressions. Here is an interesting article about him that was done previously to the charges that were filed against him.

I love all the former players and what they did for us, but we hired a local guy that would stay forever after kelly left

and we all know how that turned out. It also shows us that a really good head coordinator,  doesn't  necessary  mean  they

will be a good coach. Lets hope the latter in this case isnt true.   All the best recruits in the states  wont help if you can't coach.

When I read the headline, I thought ridiculous. But after reading the article, Its not such a bad idea.At this point it will be really tough to retain the flock of recruits we have. Your point of a bad hire outlasting a bad recruiting year is spot on. Adding to that a bad hire could lead to multiple bad recruiting years.
