That’s been my point of view all along. MC will be great for Miami. He’s an excellent recruiter, a solid guy, and will do a great job getting the U back on track. Meanwhile, Oregon was never going to be able to recruit players so good that the Ducks could consistently win despite his coaching, and his boring, low scoring, offense was killing the Oregon brand. Everyone wins. -
The only thing that makes sense is that the backups are spectacularly bad. It is inconceivable that they would have left AB out there if the coaching staff believed they had anyone else remotely ready to play. It’s demoralizing for the whole team, and almost cruel to just let him flounder like that. Got to imagine we’re looking at another transfer next year.
