  1. As a bears fan, it sucks he's coming back. As a sports fan I am so happy. He deserves to go out on his shield unaware of father time catching up to him.
  2. I was born to it. My Grandmother Mattie Reynolds was one of the first black women to work on the U of O campus. She was a cook. She loved the Ducks so much that she made my uncle Sam go there, where he was among the first black graduates from the UO law school. My mother graduated with a degree in psychology, and worked there as an academic advisor until her retirement in 2012. The Lyllye Reynolds-Parker Black Cultural Center was named in her honor in 2019. My family, like many, many others has a long and proud history of supporting our beloved ducks!
  3. Great article coach, can't wait for more of the new offense to be revealed in the future. I hope the players are excited to be in an offense that will allow them to release their talent at the highest levels. I'm so excited for spring ball.
  4. An unfair question as some are favorites at different times for different reasons. When I think about football movies a few come to mind. The first is of course Brian's Song. The second is Remember the Titans, but we can't forget about The Waterboy. Both Longest Yards are hilarious in my opinion, and I just watched a great movie called 12 Mighty Orphans. It got a tear or two out of me.
  5. It's time for a change and I'll tell you why. In the hyped up world of results driven college football you get a very limited amount of opportunities. I love Anthony Brown, I have been a supporter of his since I heard he was transferring in. I wanted him to start as soon as possible. He has actually been solid, and I think his numbers will bear that out. The problem is we need better than solid play from our signal caller. Mario Cristobal is definitely a better coach than I think we are giving him credit for. However if I was in his place my line of thinking would be like this. Tell Anthony Brown I don't care what your numbers are as long as we win. As soon as we lose we have to start thinking about the future and start developing the young fellas. Be upfront in saying it's a tough row to hoe, but this is the pressure cooker of big time college football. With a loss the playoffs are a longshot so let TT get a start and see what happens when he is QB1. My point is any offense will stall with only average qb play, and any offense will succeed if the defense at least respects the qb to have the ability to make a play. Maybe I'm a little harsher than most, but in today's game these are the decisions dynasties are made upon.
