There’s one glaring weak spot in the 2023 recruiting class — the offensive line. Does this worry you?

Wow, I just checked out On3’s website and I am quite impressed with all the information they provide. St. Jean Baptiste day 6/24, is going to be a huge recruiting day!!!

I would throw the 2010 team in there. That team was one horrible call away from being the National Champs!

Does Oregon have any remaining scholarships for the 2022 cycle?

Barrett Sallee over at CBS Sports has the Trojans making the final 4, IN 2022! Williams is the Heisman leader in the club house at -500. 2nd is Stroud at -250. Whole lot of love for QB that did beat an undermanned, disorganized Ducks team but lost to Baylor and OK ST.

I wondered if maybe the cost of living was a factor. Checked it out. Not that bad. Maybe a bit above average, but not much.
Never been there. Not going.
I live in Florida and I would say that the cost of living here is slightly above what you find in Oregon. Any assistant coach at UM would be living comfortably.

It’s a good piece of writing. He nailed it on the QB development. One thing that he didn’t really get into was the amount of patience that will be needed from this fan base. Oregon will not be very good next year. There will not be a 10 win season.
I don’t think it will be because Lanning is a bad coach. I just think it will take more time to get the current players to buy into his system, recruit new players who fit his system and get right mix of assistant coaches to carry out his vision. These things take time and I don’t think there is enough talent to overcome the learning curve.
The portal will only help so much. I don’t want to sound like a Debbie Downer, but Bo Nix was a mildly average QB and Dillingham’s offense at FSU was mildly average this last season. Mix those two together and you get mildly average. I think the current WR corps will probably bump them up a few notches, but I don’t think they’ll set the Pac 12 on fire.
One thing I think we need to put into consideration is that the Ducks play in the PAC 12. I think a 10 + win season would be easily attainable next year. If it were a different conference, it would be less attainable. I’m already banking on Oregon’s offense being better next year!

All good comments and points well made.
Staying thru the playoffs shows our current players, future players and us fans that Coavh Lanning will finish what he starts.
That speaks to his character and oozes substance. He probably won't abandon ship.
MC and some of his merry men abandoned the ship for their own best interests. MC moved fast to keep HIS Oregon recruits on board for Miami. Please, anyone explain to me that he didn't..... Please
Do we think Coach Lanning is currently calling his Georgia recruits to come to Oregon? While stilling coaching st Georgia?
We will find out soon enough. Some players may follow DL thru the portal and a few recruits to Georgia may hold off on early signing day.
But for certain DL didn't have any time to preplan like the 3 weeks MC did.
Let's go Coach Lanning.......
I would love to see some of those Georgia recruits come Oregon’s way. However, after looking at the current commitment list, they are all southern grown and most likely have no desire to head out west.

If Lannning were to stay with UG until the NC game, wouldn’t that just destroy Oregon’s recruiting for this cycle? I would think that they would want to get somebody in there before the Dec. 15th signing to salvage some recruits.
