As Quacky noted, with Dante Moore we may have an actual starter in the breech. This is huge for us as in recent years we've needed the portal for a starting qb. One less thing to worry about for DL. Go Duck!

I assume we've been watching these games? I hate to say it, but watching the Ducks hasn't really delivered on the "highly entertaining" front. Look at this past weeks games for entertainment value. The CO/TT game was absolutely thrilling, UT/BYU was a nail biter as was Miami/GT. It's amazing that we're #1 and doing this well. I'm not complaining one bit, but Lannings teams are not what people expect from "flashy Oregon".
Who would have thought that the Ducks would only be slightly more entertaining than PSU?
Not me.

Who do the refs work for, themselves? Everyone talking as if the refs are somehow a separate entity when in reality they are employees of individual leagues.
The refs are doing what they're told otherwise they'd be replaced immediately.

Would the NCAA be scrambling to change the rules if this was done by Bama or Georgia or tOSU or Texas?
I doubt it. More likely they'd be praising them for being clever enough to leverage the rules to win a close game.

We should be happy we're now able to play through/past enough of this corrupt officiating to get a "big" win when we weren't supposed to. This is what it takes and Lanning knows.
We should be even happier we're not CAL. What the ACC has been doing to the Bears is damn near criminal.

It's "sports entertainment", the athletes are real, the action is real so just enjoy it. Outcomes are determined by who stands to gain/lose the most, or those who work for these stakeholders (refs and reply officials). With all the $$$ on the line now nobody should be surprised either.
It's so obvious now they don't even try to hide it.

Hasn't happened yet this year, not the spring game and certainly not against UofI. I'm not writing off the Ducks just yet, but from what I've seen so far we have a VERY long way to go.
