A sacrifice bunt gets the first out but puts OSU runners at third and second. Gordon hits the next batter to load the bases. And the umpires are calling the players off the field due to heavy rain. Drew Cowley hit a ball between the pitcher and first base to score Gavin Grant on a fielders choice and Tanner Smith advancing to second base. Last of the 2nd inning; Lead off batter is walked on a 3-2 pitch. A fly ball to left field is caught by Tanner Smith just in front of the warning track for the first out. The third batter for OSU lines a single through the right side of the infield to put runners at third and first with one out. A sacrifice bunt down the first base line scores the first run of the game. Pitching Coach Jake Angier to the mound, but sticking with RJ Gordon. The Beaver runner at second steals third base. Start of the game is currently in "rain delay", which is ironic considering ducks live mostly on the water and beavers live mostly in the water.

The first game of a three game series. Yes, I know they have played the previous two Tuesday's! Those games didn't count in the Pac11(Colorado doesn't field a baseball squad) standings, but do count in the overall win/loss column. Confused yet? Last year Oregon took two of three games in Corvallis while sweeping the buck tooth varmints in Eugene. Beavis will be looking for revenge. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05PM at Goss Stadium in Corvallis. Possible thunderstorms are in the forecast, so let's hope the booms come from Duck bats!
