The Pac-12 plans to consider releasing weekly injury reports amid the proliferation of state-sponsored sports betting, conference commissioner George Kliavkoff told CBS Sports. The initiative comes as the Pac-12 is also considering selling its data rights to capitalize on the betting wave that is sweeping through college athletics. Injury reports could conceivably enhance the value of that data. Kliavkoff plans to discuss the concept with Pac-12 coaches and athletic directors in 2023. Lanning has always been secretive about injuries...What do you think? Do you think this is good for the game? How will Oregon Ducks maneuver around UNC linebacker Cedric Gray? The Tar Heels linebacker enters Wednesday’s matchup with No. 15 Oregon (9-3) with 138 tackles, fourth nationally, with 10 stops for loss. Gray also has five pass breakups, three forced fumbles and two interceptions. Most of Gray’s stops are solo tackles and he’s not easily schemed around. He’s consistent, with at least seven tackles in each of the last 12 games and 13 or more in six of those games. How will Oregon Ducks maneuver around UNC linebacker Cedric Gray? Mack Brown heaps praise on Dan Lanning's job as a first year head coach “We’re excited to play Oregon,” Brown said. “Dan has done an amazing job. First-year coaches, it’s really hard. He didn’t recruit most of those guys. He goes out in his first game and has a tough game with Georgia and then pulls them all back together and regroups. And that could have been a turning point for him in a bad way because he didn’t know a lot of those kids, and he has done an amazing job of pulling it together and keeping it together and putting himself in a position to have a great team.” Oregon Ducks Football: UNC coach Mack Brown praises Dan Lanning DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM North Carolina head coach Mack Brown heaped praise on Oregon’s Dan Lanning for the job he did in his first year in Eugene.

2022 Holiday Bowl: Odds, prediction and how to watch When the bowl schedule first came out, the 2022 Holiday Bowl was one that caught my eye and the reason is simple — two elite quarterbacks. With two dynamic quarterbacks, the offenses should dominate this game. Both teams will be without their offensive coordinators, which could be a bit of a challenge, yet the fireworks should be plenty. Both teams are trending in the wrong direction and are dealing with some opt-outs. However, Oregon is the heavy favorite and is favored by 13.5 points according to Fan Duel. The over/under is 74.5 and the money line is -500 for Oregon and +350 for North Carolina. 2022 Holiday Bowl: Odds, prediction and how to watch SATURDAYBLITZ.COM The 2022 Holiday Bowl should be one of the best bowl games during the 2022 cycle and here's a look at the odds, how to watch...

Holiday Bowl preview: Scouting the Tar Heels On paper, this should set the Ducks up perfectly for an offensive masterclass. Nix’s top three receivers will be active in the game, as well as the entire offensive line and top two running backs. The challenge will primarily be for the defense to hold up on its end. Maye is one of only six quarterbacks this year to throw for over 4,000 yards. He can also run the ball just as efficiently as Nix, with 653 rushing yards. Unlike Nix, however, Maye will be without his favorite target. The shorthanded teams still have plenty to work with and will make for a competitive matchup. UNC football gets chance at redemption in San Diego. Or so the Tar Heels hope, anyway So thanks to the COVID cancellations in 2020 and 2021, North Carolina will (presumably) become the first ACC team to actually play in the Holiday Bowl, which has been a Pac-12 destination for more than 20 years but is new to the ACC rotation. North Carolina might be as relieved as N.C. State was dissatisfied if Oregon ended up bailing the way UCLA did. The Tar Heels are a 14.5-point underdog, one of the biggest pups of the entire bowl season (Purdue, against LSU in the Citrus Bowl, is also a 14.5-point dog) and not without reason. North Carolina is the Home Team at Holiday Bowl?
Pennsylvania Duck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
This was posted on Holiday Bowl thread earlier...it seemed like they wanted to surprise. LOOK: Social media video hints at Ducks uniform combination for Holiday Bowl One of the biggest things that takes place during the football season in the world of Oregon Duck fans is the uniform release. It comes out at 5 p.m. PT on the dot, each and every Wednesday before the game. So it became peculiar that on the eve of the Holiday Bowl, the Ducks were yet to release what jerseys they would be wearing against the North Carolina Tar Heels. No tweet, no color scheme, no hints at all. A social media post from freshman cornerback Jahlil Florence might have tipped the team’s hand. Check out what it is...
