  1. Not much. I don't want A&M to lose or anything else that could lift the Ducks into the top 4.
  2. I sure hope not. When Dan Lanning hired Samples, almost everyone had serious doubts (except for the fact that DL is a trustworthy head hunter). Now no one in the family doubts Samples. He has been awesome in every way. Samples is Oregon's assistant head coach. When Dan Lanning retires in another 50 years or so, Samples should be ready to take over. 😁
  3. ...or they could say, "It wasn't a big game."
  4. Ducks --the winner 31-17 --the score 1 --the amount of turnovers Oregon creates 2 --the number of sacks Oregon records on the opposing team 217 --the number of passing yards by the Ducks.
  5. I have been a bicycle rider for years, and once I commented to a guy selling riding clothing at a bike shop about how much riding clothing is black (especially the pants)... and I thought the same as you. You want to be seen on the road. The guy replied to me that studies have shown that black is easier to see during the day. There are fewer accidents with black bike clothing than any other color. On a sunny day, black is easy to see.
  6. One reason I watched it all the time was to hear Joey Harrington's take on things. This year, no Joey.
  7. Bummer... not that the weather will be good, but that I just did my score prediction based on lots of rain.
  8. Also, we might not like it sometimes, but spreading out the offense and throwing screens to the outside opens up the running lanes too. This is what Chip Kelley did. He sent folks out wide to open up the middle (fewer people in the box/fewer people to block). CK's offense was a running offence primarily, but the passes outside made it easier.
